About RiSE4WRD 2.0

RiSE4WRD is HRD Corp's strategic initiative in support of Malaysia's Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR4.0) agenda. This fully-funded programme assists manufacturing and manufacturing-related SMEs in accelerating their digital transformation journey by providing high-level training delivered by experts.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this fully-funded training, manufacturing and manufacturing-related SMEs must meet the following criteria:

  • Annual sales: RM300,000 to RM50 million (manufacturing) or RM20 million (manufacturing-related services)
  • Employees: 5-200 (manufacturing) or 5-75 (manufacturing-related services)
  • Minimum 60% local equity
  • Operating for at least 36 months
  • Valid business license/manufacturing license
  • HRD Corp registered with no levy arrears

Mahesa Sankarra is an experienced Digital Transformation Consultant and Senior Corporate Trainer with over a decade of experience in digital transformation, emerging technologies and cybersecurity training. He has worked with organisations across diverse geographical locations, helping business leaders and technical professionals navigate the complexities of Industry 4.0 and digital transformation initiatives.

His expertise spans emerging technologies including cloud computing, artificial intelligence, IoT implementations, big data analytics,

blockchain, automation, and smart infrastructure solutions. Mahesa actively manages and consults on digital transformation projects encompassing cloud migration, system implementation, security posture assessments, and Microsoft 365 deployments.

He holds numerous professional certifications, including CISSP, CCSP, CISM, and multiple Microsoft 365 certifications. Mahesa is recognised as an approved trainer by leading organisations such as PeopleCert, EC-Council, CompTIA, and Microsoft.
